Kärcher Futuretech receives order from the Austrian Armed Forces
Schwaikheim, October 2023 - The Austrian Federal Ministry of Defence has placed an order with Kärcher Futuretech for decontamination systems worth tens of millions of euros. Kärcher Futuretech will initially develop a complete pre-series model and, following a trial phase by the Austrian Army, will manufacture several complete systems. The order also includes systems for the Austrian Air Force.
"With this order, we are further expanding our position as the world's leading manufacturer of military decontamination systems," explains Markus Barner, Managing Director of Kärcher Futuretech. "We work with a kind of construction kit that enables us to always respond individually to the needs and requirements of the respective customer via changes to the individual components."
The system developed for the Austrian Armed Forces includes, among other things, the technologically latest vacuum decontamination module for sensitive equipment as well as several systems for the decon-tamination of persons, infrastructure, equipment and vehicles. The Austrian Armed Forces thus have a highly modern, mobile and very quickly deployable solution at hand. Within a very short time, for example, the module for the decontamination of people can be set up.
The focus of the customer's requirements is on mobility as well as its air loadability. Kärcher Futuretech will therefore develop particularly light individual modules for the Austrian.
