Singapore’s ST Engineering has used the DSEI 2023 exhibition in London to showcase several mortar solutions.
 
Making its first appearance was the Ground Deployed Advanced Mortar System (GDAMS), a 120mm mortar which can be mounted, rapidly deployed, used and then rapidly moved from a range of 4x4 vehicles such as a Land Cruiser. 

 
Able to be operated by two people, the company signed an agreement with UK firm NP Aerospace to promote, and if selected, carry out integration work for the GDAMS in the NATO market. 
 
Also present on the ST Engineering stand was the 120mm Super Rapid Advanced Mortar System (SRAMS). This automated weapon can be mounted on a variety of vehicles including the company’s Bronco articulated all-terrain vehicle.
 
SRAMS has been test fired under desert conditions and is already in service with the UAE Army.
